Jameson
Memorial Hospital School of Nursing is a place of
action....a place where the rich history of Lawrence
County combines with the world of high tech medical
advances to prepare today's student for the exciting
career of nursing.
Founded in
1895 as the Shenango Valley Training School, Jameson
Memorial Hospital School of Nursing has educated over two
thousand students. Located in New Castle,
Pennsylvania, the School continues to
grow and reflect the
rapid growth of modern medical knowledge.
Jameson
Memorial Hospital School of Nursing is a 2 year diploma program (with a
summer break), which is accredited by the National
League for Nursing Accrediting Commission and approved by
the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. In conjunction
with Penn State University, students earn college credits
that can be applied to a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Nursing.
In 20
months, the Jameson Memorial
Hospital School of Nursing prepares graduates to sit for
their RN licensure exam.
